Great opportunity: foundry labourer (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Harrison County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Performance bonus on top of base pay.
