Gas appliance installer — Marin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Marin County, California. You will be based in a gas distribution network. The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 2+ years on the tools preferred.
