Site safety steward wanted in Chesterfield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces The role involves: • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
