HSE officer • Paikoro, Niger State

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE officer in Paikoro, Niger State. The job is on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training On the job you will handle: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Performance bonus on top of base pay.
