Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Sule Tankakar, Jigawa State. On a typical shift you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
