Occupational health and safety officer — Bida

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bida, Niger State. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Pay around ₦165,000 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
