Port container crane operator wanted in Dallas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Dallas County, Alabama. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). 2+ years on the tools preferred.
