Requirements: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Day-to-day duties: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris Full-time with occasional weekends. $5,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
