Canteen cook — Erie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a canteen cook in Erie County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies On the job you will handle: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
