Lift installation engineer • Piscataquis County, Maine

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Piscataquis County, Maine. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. You will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Six days a week, one day off.
