Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 1+ years on the tools preferred.
