Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action.
