Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
