Head butcher — Orleans Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a meat processing plant. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling The role involves: • Season and marinate meat on request • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
