Semi-automatic welder • Ika North East, Delta State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Ika North East, Delta State. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
