Immediate opening: steel fixer (Kentucky)

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Henderson County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
