Domestic gas engineer wanted in Socorro County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Socorro County, New Mexico. On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
