Vacancy available: we are hiring a cement mason in Fillmore County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
