Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Dixie County, Florida. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
