Automotive refinish painter — Clay County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Clay County, Illinois. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. You will mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. You should have: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
