Now hiring: we are hiring a counter butcher in Chester County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; season and marinate meat on request; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Part-time with flexible hours.
