Urgent requirement: cnc lathe setter (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Lee County, Iowa. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
