Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Wisconsin)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Sawyer County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
