Precision welder • Calhoun County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Calhoun County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
