Great opportunity: uPVC window fabricator (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Highland County, Virginia. The job is at a glazing and fabrication factory. The role involves clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
