Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Union County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
