Pipe fitter wanted in Niagara County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Niagara County, New York. You will be based on residential construction sites. On the job you will handle: • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall • Fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves • Connect overhead and underground water tanks • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections • Detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework • Carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs You should have: • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,250 per project, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
