Stainless steel welder — Prentiss County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Prentiss County, Mississippi. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
