Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Wabasha County, Minnesota. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On the job you will handle: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Full-time, day shift.
