Long-haul driver — Scott County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Scott County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Day to day you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits. What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
