Pipe lagger — Borough of Tameside

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Borough of Tameside, England. You should have: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,550 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
