Car service technician — East Ayrshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a car service technician in East Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work at a tyre and exhaust shop. Day to day you will replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; replace brake pads, discs and callipers; service and replace timing belts and chains; read fault codes and clear them after the repair. You should have: • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
