Port container crane operator wanted in Tattnall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Tattnall County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy construction site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground.
