Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
