Groundskeeper wanted in Rock County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Rock County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
