Refrigeration technician • Monroe County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Monroe County, Kentucky. The job is in a commercial cold storage facility. On a typical shift you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; clean condenser and evaporator coils. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Valid driving licence for field call-outs 2+ years on the tools preferred.
