Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Crawford County, Iowa. The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Performance bonus on top of base pay.
