Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick mason in Karnes County, Texas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
