Gas pipe fitter wanted in Nottingham

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Nottingham, England. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Meals and transport allowance provided.
