Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings Rotating shifts. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
