Wood machinist — Tama County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Tama County, Iowa. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
