The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
