Vacancy available: concrete pump mate (Zamfara State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Maradun, Zamfara State. You will work on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦145,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
