Gas commissioning technician • Cook County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Cook County, Georgia. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints 1+ years on the tools preferred.
