Heavy equipment operator — Gwoza

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Gwoza, Borno State. The job is at a landfill site. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will check for underground cables and services before digging; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
