You should have: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Day-to-day duties: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
