Elevator repair technician — Greene County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Greene County, Virginia. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments. You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
