Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Ouray County, Colorado. You will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion 5+ years on the tools preferred.
