Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Leflore County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet.
