Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Benton County, Arkansas. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
